Since joining LateRooms.com in October 2012 Natalie has been able to continue her passion for travel, taking the opportunity to visit our vast array of hotels – from the luxurious to the quirky. She’s really excited to be involved in this year’s Best Kept Secret Awards and is looking forward to discovering first-hand plenty more hidden gems to add to her ‘must-visit’ list.
After joining The Sun in 1990, Lisa spent time heading up features for the paper, and eventually moving on to the travel desk to fulfill her passion for travel journalism. An authority on all things hotel and travel related, Lisa includes a wide range of news, press trips and fantastic bargain breaks for The Sun. A keen traveller herself, Lisa loves holidaying in France with her family.

Susy Smith has been Editor of Country Living Magazine, since 1995. During this time, she has increased the profile and circulation of the title taking it to number one in the homes and lifestyle market. Responsible travel and sustainable living are key themes for Country Living, so Susy is looking forward to discovering some great new green places to stay.
Mandie has 16 years experience in women's magazines, spanning health, fitness, beauty, fashion, celebrity and lifestyle, and has written and edited for some of the UK's top-selling titles. Prior to joining Zest, the UK's top-selling women's health magazine, as editor in 2008, Mandie was consultant editor at Grazia, Executive Editor at First, and spent three years in Dubai launching the region's first international standard glossy, VIVA. A keen spa-goer, over the years Mandie has tested the massage beds and treatment lists of spas all over the world, and is always on the hunt for a new favourite.
Alex has worked for Coast since summer 2012, and became the Editor in April this year. She began her career in fashion and, after graduating from Central Saint Martins College of Art, worked for both Vogue and Elle before moving on to style large fashion shows, including The British Designer of the Year Show. As part of her role, she now travels the country looking for the best coastal holidays and hotels to recommend to Coast readers.
Paul is the senior editor of MSN Tech. Previously Paul was a contributing editor on Pocket-lint where he earned the moniker 'news monkey' due to his speedy and comprehensive coverage of anything new in the world of tech. He is a self-confessed geek and loves to travel, seeing what hotels have to offer in the world of technology through innovation and relaxation.
Best for Dining
Jim works as Website Editor for JamieOliver.com, immersing himself in the endless world of food and drink, creating and commissioning editorial and videos for the hugely popular site. All this obviously requires dining in a lot of hotels both in the UK and further afield. When not eating, Jim is either watching or playing cricket and rugby or spending time with his wife and two sons in the Essex countryside.
Fergus Collins is the editor of BBC Countryfile Magazine. Closely associated with the popular Sunday evening BBC TV show, Countryfile Magazine is an entertaining and practical guide to every aspect of the British countryside. Fergus has been the editor for over four years and was previously the Features Editor of BBC Wildlife. With a passion for the outdoors and the British countryside, Fergus loves travel and exploring new destinations.

Charlie began his career at Arena Magazine, before roles as Zoo magazine's Entertainment Editor and Features Editor on Loaded magazine. He was appointed Editor of Britain's most visited men's lifestyle destination, AskMen, in January 2012. Charlie regularly tees off and stays at golf courses around the world and is deeply passionate about the sport.
Amy Curtis is the Managing Editor of GoodHomes magazine. She has eight years of experience working on home-interest titles, including Homes & Gardens and Period Living, and regularly reviews hotels and restaurants in the UK and abroad. In her spare time she travels, cooks and enjoys cross-country running.
Taryn Davies is the fashion, beauty and travel writer at Femalefirst.co.uk. She has worked there for the past two years, having come straight from her journalism degree at University of Central Lancashire. As a massive fan of travel, Taryn is a frequent reviewer of pubs, restaurants and hotels and she is always looking for the best service and experience on offer.
Anna Sky Hulton
Anna Sky is the Digital Content Editor for Bauer Radio's websites and has worked for the company for six years. She is passionate about travelling and loves exploring new destinations around the world with her husband. Having slept everywhere from a Trans-Mongolian Express bunk bed to a 5 star Honeymoon Suite at Shangri-La Sydney, she knows a thing or two about finding the comfiest bed.
